The phone call came when dad and I were scheduled in the dining room… Every one of us were getting dinner ready since mom was running late coming beach house from work, but then the phone rang, and dad went to answer it, it was the police, and they had some bad news for us, then when coming home, mom’s car was hit by a drunk driver, and she was at the hospital.

Another strategy was to time such a trip during the final weeks of summer time when discounts were everywhere. Denise was amazed by the 16th Street Mall. All kinds of stores, restaurants, plus activities were going on, which brought the whole section to life. Denise knew he would do some charming shopping for herself plus his corporation in this location.

I started getting interested in rocks and fossils when our mom started dating the man who became our step father.

Unfortunately I had to go to a nearby college because of financial reasons, however I never forgot about Albuquerque and its geological sites. I’m taking a vacation this month to Albuquerque to visit the Petroglyph National Monument. There are locations with thoUSAnds of examples of prehistoric art, along with bones, tools, and other rare items that are all native to the area. I also decided to go hiking on the nearby Rinconada Canyon Trail. For a geologist like myself, the prehistoric monuments in Albuquerque are some of the most breathtaking locations in the country. If I could find a job at one of the many museums or any of the geological sites, I would transport to Albuquerque in a heartbeat.

I moved to LA in the nineties to pursue a career in acting.

• I starred in a couple of tv commercials, but I never really got my big break.

I did end up in the movie industry behind the scenes. I was really gifted with my hands, so I started working with the set design crew.
