My husbandy got it in his head that he wanted to experience a colorless christmas, then he was all over me to go bring him back to my apartment state of IL so that my buddy and I could enjoy snow, ice, and freezing together, then i think he imagined the snow being like from the film The Holiday, however the snow is there, but it doesn’t seem to affect anybody.
I mean Cameron Diaz walks through it in high heels and no socks.
How exhausting could snow be? Well I am from Elgin, IL and the snow is cold. The days get down into the teens, sometimes even single digits, and during the day it is below chilly. Nobody in Elgin is casually walking around in the snow without typical gear. However, my husbandy wanted it and I know my parents enjoy it when I come to visit them; So I helped my husbandy option out typical gear for the winter and my buddy and I boarded a plane for Elgin, IL. Immediately my husbandy realized his mistake. The snow and wind chill were a lot for him. He basically spent most of the day holed up in front of my parent’s gas fireplace. He was chilly freezing and hated being outside. The first day he dropped down in the snow to make a snow angel and realized that it was wet, icky, and gross. He never wanted to do that again. He hated sledding, snowmen, and snowball fights. The colorless Christmas he imagined was not what he expected! At least he got to see Elgin, IL.
