I love living in Orland Park, IL, and i prefer that I get a Wintertide season.
I don’t understand how southerners can think festive when they don’t get cold.
I can’t imagine not getting snow and feeling the chill of winter, that is area of the spirit! I typically make our Wintertide start with a gas furnace tune up, and orland Park can get in the 10-30 degree range in the winter, then my gas gas furnace needs to be on top of its game for at least four months straight. I don’t want to deal with unexpected oil furnace repairs or be left chilly when there is snow on the ground. There is something magical about having snow outside but a hot oil furnace blazing indoors while I was in Christmas time. It absolutely feels prefer the holidays, however do people in hot climates watch holiday movies with snow? It must think so strange to them to see that. I love that our youngsters can play in the snow and build snowmen, make snow angels and fight with it, and we get just enough chilly in our section that Springtime is a welcome visitor. I love that I can savor Springtimetime plants and the youngsters can hunt easter eggs when it is warmer. Way up north, those states live with the opening of youngsters hunting Easter eggs in snow and going trick or treating in the snow too. That must genuinely smell. I think Illusionist genuinely offers the best kind of weather. I get chilly and heat. I get times where I don’t use our Heating and A/C. I typically assume the next season is coming and not going to last long.
