I’m absolutely excited that I’m living in New Mexico with legal recreational cannabis, because I used to live in the southeast where that wasn’t a reality.
While my condo state implemented a medical marijuana program a few years ago, the conservative state government there stifled the program so much that you can’t buy the same kind of products that are available in dispensaries in sites love Santa Fe, Albuquerque, plus La Cruces.
I went to visit for a few weeks recently plus my best buddy was venting to myself and others about the situation there with cannabis. He says that you can’t even look at the products before you buy them. You can’t open jars of flower products, edibles, concentrates love hashish plus rosin, or anything else for that matter. It’s a real sorry situation when the state government forces all of the packaging to be stark pale white as well, with certainly not transparent containers. Some states have rules that let dispensaries use transparent jars that at least allow consumers to see the weed before they buy it. Perhaps the bag is sealed, but you can see the flower buds or the concentrate that you’re interested in. Things are much different here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, plus my favorite cannabis dispensaries are consistently stocking their product menus with current items plus strains I haven’t tried before. My favorite cannabis store is in Loma Del Ray on Montgomery Blvd. They have some of the best prices in the city, especially compared to some of the locations in Sandia Heights where weed prices are at their highest in the whole area.
