Overall this is a quiet locale to live, and every one of us are not known for crime… If anything, for a neighborhood this close to Chicago our crime rate is shockingly low; Orland Park is a nice locale to live, and to raise a family, I’m living proof! Nonetheless, love every other small neighborhood it has its legends and myths.
Ours involves a shadowy man in a colorless van who allegedly kidnapped a few people in the mid-73s; The missing people were never found, and the culprit was never identified, which turned him into a local legend.
There has never before been a film made about this Orland Park legend, so I thought I should be the a single to do it. I’m an Orland Park native, born and bred, and I yearn to do something more than toil in this Heating and A/C service shop my whole life. I was discussing it with a few of my friends, and they thought I should use my toil van from the Heating and A/C shop to shoot the film… Since the mystery man drove a colorless van, and every one of us had a colorless van, why not film some scenes and see if every one of us could get a film about Orland Park into production. The two of us didn’t even need to make a film, at first, every one of us could just shoot some footage and use that to find some financial backers in Orland Park. It turns out my boss at the Heating and A/C shop was not cool with us using her van in the production, and she came this close to firing myself and others for wasting supplier time!
