My fiance & I moved to Denver, CO a couple of years ago, and i haven’t worked since then.
I care about being a kept man,especially after my fiance made myself and others move 2000 miles away from my family & friends.
I didn’t want to leave the sun & humidity of the South. I wasn’t recognizably happy about leaving the beach either, the company where my fiance worked was closing the distribution center close to our home. They did not have a location for my fiance unless he was willing to take a supervisory job at the Denver, CO branch. I remember the morning that my fiance came home to tell myself and others about the task in Denver; She knew that I was going to be unhappy leaving the beach & all of the warm, sunny days, his pitch included recreational cannabis; Denver, CO is 1 neighborhood where recreational Cannabis is legal. There are a dozen weird dispensaries within the neighborhood limits & I would be able to access Cannabis sativa without a medical card, but all of the nice things about Denver outweighed the terrible things, so the people I was with and I moved to the neighborhood a couple of months later, but we’ve been here for a couple of years & I miss the beach every single morning. I haven’t been on a surfboard since the people I was with and I moved. I miss the smell of the salty air & the sound of the parakeets. My fiance & I often go to the lake, however it is not the same. I entirely don’t prefer being stuck in a landlocked state.
