A lot of my friends wanted to go to Daytona for spring break, but I decided to go to Tampa Bay.
Tampa Bay has a lot more action at night and I knew there would be a lot more things to do.
A couple of friends decided to join me and we rented a house in New Port Richey. New Port Richey is a really ritzy area outside of Tampa Bay. It’s right off Interstate 19 and our house was right on the beach. We were just a little ways away from Tarpon Springs and only 45 minutes away from downtown Tampa. We enjoyed lots of activities in the city while we visited. The rental house was less than ideal for my friends and I. We tried not to stay at the house unless we were sleeping. The bed was cozy, but the AC was nonexistent. The Tampa area house was advertised to have Central AC, but I can honestly say it wasn’t very cold inside of the bedrooms at all. I didn’t want to sleep with the doors open, because my friends and I were sharing a place. It didn’t feel like there was any cold AC coming out of the vent in my bedroom or jacks. Since we couldn’t enjoy any cool air at the rental, we spent most of our time at the beach or downtown in Tampa. While we were there, we decided to go to Busch Gardens. My friend and I were planning to ride one of the roller coasters, but I chickened out at the last moment. When I got up to the front of the line and I realized I was going to be in the first seat, I decided to take the exit instead.
