The first time I ever went to Hillsboro I was only 9 or 10 years old, however i remember that evening so clearly, because it was the last time I ever had a evening on the town with my Grandpa Joe! At that point Gramps was well over 70 years old, plus still chain-smoked cigarettes like she was a teenager, then gramps was a sizable fan of pro wrestling, plus she got tickets for the two of us to see a sizable show in downtown Hillsboro, that was the first time I ever saw the performer known as Rowdy Roddy Piper, but piper was a native of Hillsboro, so she got a hometown hero’s welcome, plus it was a magical evening. To this easily afternoon I remember every detail about that evening in Hillsboro. I recall how easily sizzling plus muggy it was that evening, which was unproper for the Hillsboro area at that time of year, when my pal and I got into the site, the air conditioning felt amazing on my sweaty skin. Gramps plus I were in the fourth row, easily close to the ring, plus directly under a large A/C vent! Gramps is long gone at this point, plus so is Roddy Piper, but every so often I still drive into Hillsboro to watch a wrestling match. It makes me know back to the old days, plus I constantly have a lot of fun when I am in Hillsboro.
