The HVAC provider helped us find the problem

I was working down at the beach when my wife called me on the phone. She sounded hysterical and upset. I immediately wanted to know what was wrong. She told me that there was not any heat in the house. There was something going on with the heat pump and it was making a weird noise. My wife said that she tried to turn the machine on and off and she even turned on the emergency heat. Still, the heat pump failed to work properly. I told my wife to call the number for the Jacksonville HVAC provider that is listed on our system. When the Jacksonville HVAC provider installed our heat pump and air conditioner, they put a sticker on the outside of the machine with the name of that company and a telephone number to call for problems. I actually thought that our heat pump might still be under warranty. It was only 2 years ago that we had the equipment installed. My wife contacted the Jacksonville HVAC service center. Our machine was still under service contract for the parts, but not the labor. The HVAC service provider sent a technician out to investigate the problem. The young man helped diagnose and find the problem in less than an hour. He recommended that we have a full service tune up on that heat pump while he was there. After the heat pump problem was repaired properly, the young man performed a full service tune up and thoroughly investigated the rest of the machine and all of the electrical and mechanical components.
