There was a terrible storm last weekend and we lost all power during the storm.
The power was out for more than 12 hours.
When the power finally came back on, I noticed that the AC unit did not turn on. It was getting warmer and warmer inside of the house, but adjusting the temperature on the thermostat did not help. I even tried to turn the AC on and off again to trigger a response. I checked the breaker and the batteries in the thermostat but nothing helped. I thought something must have happened during the storm to cause the AC to stop working, so I did the best thing I could do and that was to call a Birmingham repair service to help me with the problem. I didn’t want to waste a lot of time trying to troubleshoot the issue if I wasn’t going to be able to fix it on my own. I certainly don’t know a lot about AC repair work, so it was a better idea to contact the Birmingham repair service. I got an appointment the following day. First thing in the morning a technician arrived to help me with the AC repair. The Birmingham HVAC repair service did not charge a lot of money to look at the system and determine the issue. They didn’t charge a lot of money for the repair either, which was a happy surprise. I thought it might cost hundreds of dollars to fix the problem with the machine, but it was a safety relay switch that needed to be replaced and that was not an expensive part
