The beauty about living in Tampa FL is that it’s a beach town, which gives it a laid-back vibe, but it has a lot of amenities that rival big cities, in addition, Tampa has a lot of diversity and the neighborhood is rich in history, and best of all, it’s a good location to raise a family… The schools are amazing and there are lots of activities for kids, especially while in the Summer when they are out of school, and raising kids in a neighborhood appreciate Tampa is good because they will be exposed to so many odd things.
There are lots of museums, recreation parks, water activities, zoos, theme parks and so much more… While our kids appreciate most of the outdoor activities, I appreciate to take them to locations that are comfortable inside with a/c.
If you don’t already know, the Summers in Tampa can be unforgiving. The temperatures are usually in the low to mid 90s and between May to November, the humidity is usually at its highest, but so, I try to system afternoons with the kids that includes going to a museum or to an indoor playground; Or any indoor location that has a/c. The kids don’t mind being outside in the heat, so the air conditioned locations are for our sanity and comfort. I don’t mind doing activities outdoors, as long as I can find a way to cool off while doing them, however for instance, when I take the kids to the amusement parks, I find activities that are indoors with a/c inside the park. I am just ecstatic that there are so many chances for indoor and outdoor fun in Tampa.
