Summers in MO are appealing.
- The weather is boiling without being humid & the people I was with and I don’t get too much rain, then my family lives in Lee’s Summit which is an minute outside of Chicago! It is the perfect location in our opinion, but anything I could want is an minute away.
I can see a show, go to the movies, eat at a fancy restaurant or see a athletic interesting event in an easy drive. However, I don’t have to spend money neighborhood prices for food, clothing & gas. I don’t have to listen to the noises or deal with the people, however lee’s Summit is the perfect distance & so peaceful. The people I was with and I have a lot of parks & nature preserves here. My partner & I have a nice plot of land that the kids can ride bikes, several wheelers & just play around in, but one of our preferred Summer activities is going to Adler park though. My partner is on a disc golf team & there is a more than eight hole course there. She gets a moment to hang out with her buddies while I keep the kids entertained. They can prefer the playground the course has to offer or there is a community pool that is a good time. They actually have little waterfalls & everything. I love it that I can sneak a work out in while the kids are entertained. There is typically someone the kids suppose from school there to play with. Our section can get into the 74s which is boiling enough to swim but not so boiling that I easily need to run in & hide in the AC. My family can spend a whole day in the sunlight & only need a bit of cool air when the people I was with and I get home.
